Overview
Automation Service is a cloud-based service exposed to the public internet. Bizagi have several capabilities for integration with external systems so they can communicate with each other over public internet connections (that can be accessed anywhere within the internet).
Because organizations can have internal and on-premises systems, not all the Bizagi features related to integration can be used by default. In such scenarios, customers can purchase a VPN. This section explains the integration features that have considerations in the Bizagi cloud offering.
Cloud offering
Cloud systems are those which can be accessed through the public internet. Due to security restrictions, some external systems cannot see or access the public internet.
In scenarios where customers need to integrate their external systems with the Bizagi Automation Service, they should consider using a VPN or other integration alternatives. A VPN provides a private channel that securely redirects communications from external systems to the Bizagi cloud.
Because external systems cannot see by default cloud systems, such as Bizagi Automation Service, some integration features must be analyzed to determine if they need a VPN to work.
